Default slave cylinder problems

i was wondering if my slave cylinder going bad and leaking... or a lot of air in clutch lines would make my clutch not release fully and slip?? when i push in the clutch and release it the throwout bearing rod stays in the same position. like the clutch is not releasing... do you get what i am saying? plz help.. thnks!

i should mention that the clutch is brand new... and it worked great until the clutch pedal felt a little sloppy and then the clutch felt squishy and the clutch started slippin really bad... and i am thinking it is cuz the slave cylinder is bad and was leakin and eventually leaked too much... what you guys think?

if the car is in gear and you have the clutch pedal pushed in, does the car stall?

no it is works fine, just the clutch slips now. and it wasnt gradual... it was like... i pulled into the place parked... went back to it when i got outta the car... got in the car and it took two tries to sart the car so i had the clutch to the floor for a while.. and then when i went to leave the clutch was slipping alot... i had just bled all the lines... but when i checked it on the car... the resevoir was empty... and i think it all leaked out the slave cylinder... but would this cause the clutch to slip? the throwout bearing/ rod dosnt move when i push the clutch...if i am lookin at it from the front it is always to the left...
