Default DSM clutch start switch removal

There is always alot of talk about crankwalk with the 7-bolt. And one thing that is said to reduce alittle added stress to the crank is to remove a switch so that you dont need to depress the clutch to start the car. Now the whole idea in doing this is that less strees is put on the crank during low oil pressure conditions. This is a very simple procedure.

1. Simply look under the clutch pedal. There are two switches at the pedal.

One is behind the clutch pedal arm nearby its "clevis pin". Might be a bit tough to see. This is the one that needs to be depressed for the starter to engage.

The second switch is under the dash that actaully gets extended when the clutch is depressed. Now this one from what ive been told is for the cruise control.

2. Now all you do is follow the wires from the first switch to a white connector. Simply disconnect this wire. I believe this is the connector:

3. Now just test it to make sure it works and enjoy clutchless starting.

*Also here is a video procedure for it
