Default clutch switch

Now correct me if i am rambling about nonsense. Is there any negative side effects of disconnecting the clutch switch so u can start the car without the clutch pressed. I recall reading somewhere online that the purpose of it is so the car doesnt' jerk or do n e thing unexpected when starting and also to let the ecu know where the location of the piston are.. ? How so i do not know..

no problems, in fact, its good to do if you wana take every precaution against crankwalk possible. every time you press the clutch in, you are putting pressure on the thrust bearings, especially when the motor is off.

just make sure that if you start it w/o the clutch pedal in, you keep it out of gear, or else, ya, it will jerk forward.

yes. There is a very big negative effect. Someday one of your idiot friends is going to get in your car, and screw around. Hes going to turn the key while its in reverse and youre standing behind it, and BAM, your car jerks back, a bunch of stuff breaks, and you now have a set of broken legs.
Just hypothetical

car doesnt jerk forward as long as you elave your car in neutral when parked, which most people using a turbo timer do.
