i just bought a 91 eclipse and its ben driving fine but i put some sway bars on that i got from my friend and i was low on gas and the light was on but i was like screw it and took it out on the back roads by my house and it was running fine and i was just feeling the handle of it with the sway bars and i turned left on to a street and turned around at the end and while coming back on the street the car was sorta stuttering and i just thought it was because i was out of gas and then on the straight away back to my house i was in 1st turning right got up to like 4k rpms then floored it and it took off and turbo spooled up normal and then the car sorta hoped and i shifted it in 2nd and in between the shift when it hoped the guages to dimed a bit then i just pulled it outta gear and rolled into my drive way but when it hoped between 1st and second the gas light was alreddy one but then the check engine light came on and it starts up and idles fine for me when i got it back to the house but the lights still on something like this ever happen to anybody or anybody got an idea how to fix it?

 

Is the cel light still on or did it come on then go off?

 

he said he got home then the light is still on...to me it sounds like fuel cut, it only did it when you floored it right and then it feels like the motor just cuts out hard for a second...correct?

 

yeah thats like exactly what it did then i started it today after i put gas in it and it was still running fine and the check engine light wasnt on anymore im just still kinda worried about what happened cause i dont wanna get tags on it then break down in the middle of the road

why do people like you even bother others seriously people are on here to ask things about whats wrong with there car or how to do something to there car does it make you feel all cool running your mouth about peoples ****?

 

it had to be fuel cut, Do you have any mods on the car?
