Alarm went off randomly, now Spyder 02 won't start

Alarm went off randomly, now Spyder 02 won't start
Hi guys,
A complete newbie here. The alarm of my Spyder '02 (50K miles, I know, very short commute) was going off randomly all weekend (maybe 5 times over the two days), and this morning car won't start. The engine cranks but it won't start. Battery was replaced last year. We were at home all weekend, so the car was never left with alarm for more than a couple of seconds. Never had problems with alarm before.
Any suggestions as to where to start looking?
