Ok i have a 98 mitsubishi eclipse ...last night we got stuck at someones house..the clutch was doing ok at first you had to let all the way out on it to go then started slipping....well parked it for 2 hours and got back in to leave and the dern thing wouldnt go into reverse or no gears with the clutch pushed in but if you let out on the clutch you can put it in gear and push the clutch back down and it goes ..but you have to keep the clutch down to go but wouldnt hardly go at all...let back out on it and nothing again...has anyone ever heard of this???what could it be .???is my car a** backwards???

 

Your Transmission is gone must be the fly wheel do you hear sounds when change gears?

 

^^why would you first say transmission then flywheel...you realize those are two different things.

That is a weird issue. But the only thing i could think of is the clutch is gone.
