Rattling in front wheel

Rattling in front wheel
When I'm making a left hand turn there is a grinding feel in the steering wheel and a rattle coming from the front passanger side wheel. It only happens when I'm turning or in the morning when I'm excelerating to get on the freeway. I took it to the dealer and they "fixed" the problem. However, two days later it started doing it again. I took it back and they told me they had fixed the problem and that the only thing they could do is look at the car again and give me an estimate. I was reading some recalls for my car and it mentioned a nut loose in the gear box. I don't know if this could be it or not, but any information would be appreciated. I have a 2001 Spyder, 5 spd manual.

RE: Rattling in front wheel
I agree. When you turn there is obvious stress on the bearings and, the car being front wheel drive, a hard acceleration is applying the same type of stress. I am not sure about your mechanical inclinations, but checking/greasing/replacing bearings is generally not a huge undertaking. I don't have ANY knowledge about your generation of eclipse. If you drive it like a race car, maintain it as such. If you love the corners as I do, you really have to pay attention anything that will have to work hard. Bearings, bushings, etc.
