Default Attempting to change belts in a Mitsu...

It's proving to be slightly complicated. The way my 96 Galant is set up the fan and serpentine belts are right next to each other. There's not much room to work with them being that they're so close to each other, and the engine, and also to my power steering line.

I was told by my local mechanic that it'd be a 2 hour job to replace the both of them simply because for them they'd have to "lift" the engine. I'm still wondering if I can do it myself... there HAS to be some way to get the suckers out lol

There's a picture of the two belts
