Default Blue smoke from evo

I had bought a used 2004 evo and it burns oil. I purchased it from the dealer and they said almost all Mits Engines smoke. He showed me two new cars with few miles that started to smoke after Idling for fifteen minutes, then a used one that did the same thing after ten minutes. Have you guys noticed this. I went to another dealer that also sold chrysler and he said something about valve seals and that Chrysler has Mits Engines and does the same thing. So now I'm paying out the bum on this car that smokes. What is the truth who knows, should I get representation or have you guys seen this to.

Its either bad rings or a seal. Do a compression test and if it comes back anything but perfect then go after the dealer
