Keep the lancer, it makes a fine DD.

 

dont forget that most mufflers will break in and get louder over time

 

do it old skool! take your **** to the car wash. spray some water in the muffler, then slam on the gas a couple times. repaeat untill your happy. it could also be that you might want to remove your resonator. which IS legal and itll give a nice tone, not too ricey.
