IMO, working on the 3000gt is very easy. Sometimes parts can be kinda hard to find tho... Last night I pulled my tranny because I blew my rear main seal, and I did it in 1 hour. Pulled my flywheel , replaced my seal and then put my new clutch in 30 mins, then put my tranny back on in another 1.5 hours. 3 hour job. Thats all it took to replace my rear main seal. I love how easy it is to work on these cars, but parts accessability can be a bitch.

I used to think that too, until I got my twin turbo. Alot of extra piping under the hood in comparison.

The words running lean came up alot. I'm going to have him change the pump and filter, then we will go from there. I think I'll find another mechanic (one that shows a bit more enthusiasm). At 120k miles shes most likley going to have more aches and pains, might has to give her up (I'd rather cut my arm off shes so sweet). Let you know if this fixes the problem in a week. And yes running cheap gas.

I for one, highly recommend using premium grade fuel in your car. At 20cents a gallon more, it is cheap insurance.
