Default Over Drive Problem

I have 1995 3000gt base. The over drive doesnt work right. I knew that when i bought it but i juist wasnt going to use it. I had my car in the shop getting the fluid changed on the tranny and he told me that i was burning out the tranny every time i went on the highway and didnt use the the overdrive. My question is when i press the button the car is basically going into neutral. It will just rev when you hit the gas. Could that be a ecu problem or is the clutch for the overdrive in the tranny gone and needs to be replaced.

Default RE: Over Drive Problem

It is the end clutches on the tranny.. IPT Performance Transmissions sells upgraded ones (compared to stock ones).
