I have a 92 3000GT SL and the car idles at 2500 rpms and goes up and down from 1500rpm to 2000rpm when it warms up. Has anyone here found out the problem that could cause this? I adjusted the screw on the intake and brought the idle down to about 2000 rpms. After I did that, I got a little bit of white smoke from the exhaust. And is there anything that I can hook up to the computer to tell me what it is?

 

Mine did that to me the last time my car was ideling hight I changed my air filter because it was kind of needing to be replaced abd 2nd the car was working twice as hard to suck air up so it was ideling high changes your air filet even if you put a intake because it it sexposed as well and about the smoke might had did that with the ideling high as making the motor work a little harder, have you changed your oil recently? And on top of that if it sitting there over night and all the moisture will allow your car to do that nothing major tho.
