2007 spyder glove box removal

2007 spyder glove box removal
I don't want to break 3 plastic clips on bottom of glove box. When i fold all the way down, glove box clips won't let go How can I safely remove 2007 spyder glove box to get to cabin filter.
I just bought a 2007 convertible in frost white pearl. I suspect cabin filter is a mess.
