1990 galant gsx acceleration issues

I just got a 1990 galant gsx with a turbo'd 4G63 5 speed and awd but it seems to have a hard time accelerating. If anyone knows what the problem could be please let me know.

It seriously could be one of a hundred issues.

That sucks. I think I kno part of the reason is bc the turbo is only set for 3lbs of boost. Is there a manual boost controller anywhere under the hood?

It pushes more than that from the factory.

You've found an element of the problem.
