Default Idle speed help

I have a Mitsubishi Galant ES 98,I have a problem with the idle,it is too high, about 1,300 RPM,I search online and see some posts say the problem is the IAC,and it cost about $300,do you have a trick to remove it out from the throttle body because all the screws seem to be sooo tight, any idea will be appreciated.

My car wont idle at all when stone cold.....just bought a new Idle control stepper valve to see if that fixes it (which i god hope it will).

Looks like you need to invest in a new one mate...and wd40 the screws 1st i used an 8mm spanner on mine
