DOes the 2001 Montero have a wear indicator?

 

Who knows if your brake pads have a wear indicator???? I doubt they are original on a 7 year old vehicle. If you are hearing squealing, take the wheels off and check. Even if it is the wear indicator, its time to service the vehicle instead of driving....

or you can get those angled mirror thingies you can get from walmart, dental hygiene aisle. with that you can take a peek, without getting brake dust dusty, you may need to use a flash light too... aisle 26... near the camping stuff hehe
