Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

Default Montero, no power...?

Help! I have a 3.0L Montero Sport... lovely truck. Here recently, it feels like ALL of my power is getting robbed somewhere.

Replaced all of the ECU, rubber hoses, vac lines, etc... the truck revs perfectly fine in neutral... shifts solid, too, while in gear... but it really feels like I'm hardly even accelerating when I throw it in drive.

No check engine lights, either.

If anyone can relate, or has any advice, I'd GREATLY appreciate it. This is my only transportation, so I'm screwed!

Hi: It always helps to post the mileage - what is it? Could be a blocked catalytic converter - have the exhaust flow checked.

And have you checked the transmission fluid level?
