Reverse Problems

You can just drain out some from the transmission sump, but I wouldn't waste putting fresh fluid in until you do a complete fluid exchange.

There are products that claim to be compliant, however, I've heard some folks talk about problems after putting other ATF in their rigs.

i found this 10 Min Automatic Transmission Fluid Flush + Replacement (Most Cars) - YouTube , is ok to do it in this way?
Have someone sit in the driver's seat and turn the key to engage the starter and pumps, but when the rig fires up, turn off the key. I don't suggest leaving the engine running when performing this service. Short bursts on the starter, until the fluid starts to run clean. Having a fresh washer to put on the drain plug is nice too.

I went with the Mopar +4 and so far its quieter, shifts smoother and picks up quicker. Of course the oil that came out could have been sludge as I have no records for the vehicle; so I could have put in cooking oil and got a result - but after a week it seems to be an improvement. It was also readily available and the same price as Diamond ATF.
