Maybe because those that read this forum are Outlander owners and don't know about the Pajero. If the entertainment system looks the same on the outside I would have thought that the connectors would be similar too - but you never know.

I am considering having having the part# MZ360136EX adapter hooked up to the stereo of my new LS so I can run my ipod. I am not bothered by the fact that one can not power the unit this wa or control it through the system. I am curious, how will I select AUX, as there is no such button on the stereo? Is it just the AM/FM/Sat button? I checked out the description at Project Lancer (http://z3.invisionfree.com/2008_Lanc...p?showtopic=96). Is the the exact same stereo? Does the system recognize that an auxilliary source has been added, and put it in the "Mode" loop?

thats easy.

hold the CD button for 2 secs and it switches to AUX.
