'07 Outlander Questions
Hi guys,
I just got a new Mitsubishi Outlander, and I'm really happy with it so far. I am a GM man, but I was taken by the look of the Outlander. It's just pretty darn cool. Anyway, I have a couple of questions, and my dealer has apparently never SEEN the car, because he's an idiot. Here goes.
1. In a little plastic baggie in the glove box are two gold (brass) screws that have rubber sleeves on them. I assume they are for the front license plate bracket. However, they did not give me a front license plate bracket. Is there one to be had, or do I just screw right into the indentations on the bumper with my own screws? Those screws are 1.5" long, so they must be for a bracket, right?
2. In trying to figure out my information center, I accidentally reset my service reminder. I've got 300 miles on it, and now it says that I have 14,700 miles before my first service. I know that it's just a reminder, and I can get it serviced at the normal 7,500, but it's kind of annoying. The manual says something about contacting the dealer, but again, I'd rather get advice from somebody who knows what they're talking about.
Thanks in advance.
Alan
