2010 Outlander ipod issues
Another issue with the navigation unit I have is the Ipod. The display does not show the time of the track, doesn't show what song is on. I cannot scroll through playlists/artist/song. The unit is pretty much nothing.
Does anyone have a resolution for this? This is beginning to get annoying. One would think with a brand new car it would be flawless.

I have the Ipod touch. It works on my car (the trick is you have to have a small amount of songs on the Ipod, I have a 16 gig, and about 2100 songs on it and it works. I've used other ipods with the system and the same thing. doesn't show either the time or the track. I can't pause the music. I cannot scroll down through the playlist. It's becoming more of a bother than expected.
Hi
I got the outlander vrx 2.4 model and i live in Auckland. The manual advise that I can connect my iPod to rockford audio system via a genuine dock connector from Apple Inc.
I tried to use my normal USB cable that I normally use to connect my iPod to PC but it doesn't work. When i switch to iPod mode, it says no songs.
Do I need a special cable to connect iPod to the rockford system? Any advise will be appreciated
I also has an Iphone4. Does it works the same as the iPod?
