Just bought my 2010 Outlander 2 weeks ago. The Bluetooth works great and the iPod connection via USB was working great as well. However, a few days ago, I started the car and as usual expected the iPod to kick in as it usually does, but instead, I got an error message that said "Retry" I have not been able to play my iPod since. Anyone else seen this???

Yes, somebody had a similar issue before (it kept saying "Loading"). Apparently they had too many play lists.
Lots of cars appear to have issues with iPod not reconnecting. Apparently disconnecting it before turning off the engine prevents such issues from happening on some cars. Not sure about the Outlander, though.
Did you try formatting the iPod? If that doesn't work, it may be a hardware problem with the car or iPod.

 

Thanks Ivanz. I will try to simplify the playlists then reformatting. If that doesnt work, then its off to the dealer for repair...
