Default 2012 GT AWD Transmission maintenance

Hi all -
We have a 2012 Outlander GT AWD with around 88k miles. My wife recently saw a "Transmission service" warning come up, but it was just momentary and there are no codes stored. I have noticed a few instances where there might be some slippage.

I see that a fluid change is not even shown on the regular maintenance schedule, but recommended every 30k for severe conditions. Ours sees fairly light duty, but does occasionally stray into what might be considered "severe conditions". What is common practice out there?

Also - I'm guessing that there is a filter involved, but I'm not seeing much online that refers to it or replacing it. Anyone have info or suggestions on whether to pursue this?

And finally - are there any alternatives to taking it to the dealer to have the fluid status sensor reset?

Thanks for your help,

Steve

Change every 45k miles. No filter. I have an 07, which has no fluid sensor....not much help there. Amsoil and Havoline make compatible fluids. Havoline was available on Amazon for a good price at one time. I've always stuck to oem for tranny fluid.
