Thedealership where I got my 08 outlander(w/out NAV)installed an aftermarket rear seat dvd via third party contractor. They set the power for dvd player to "ignition on" settingnot on "acc".How can Iswitchit to "acc" so that I can watch movies even if the engine is not running or not in "ignition on" position?

 

i would ask the contractor that question, or whomever did the electrical.

 

I did but they don't want to change it because, "it will drain dead the battery" ,as they told me. I don't think it will because I had thesame set up on my minivan but never had a battery problem.

 

Is this the dealer or the contractor that's gieving you this info?

 

Well yeah it will eventually drain the battery down. But so will the stereo. I would think if you request it, they should do it. Otherwise, thats terrible customer service.

 

both the dealership and the contractor gave that kind of info.......
