ATF level way above the H on the dipstick
Hey all,
Just checked our ATF level... On a hot engine, the ATF level was a good 1/2 inch to an inch above the H. It's tough to read, but there is no liquid above that level. This was done at the dealer.
Is that too much? Any risk of damaging anything?
Seems to be shifting fine, so apparently j3 is ok in a 2009 V6 transmission haha.

Mine is a bit below the H, it’s been shifting well so I left it, seems to be working fine. There’s a bit of a process to checking it, it’s in the manual. Off the top of my head it has to be warmed, shift through all the gears and back to park.
