CVT Fluid Change
New owner of a 2013 Outlander. It has the CVT. Looking through the maint schedule and don't see reference to change intervals for the fluid in the CVT? I do see references to 'change transfer oil'. Is that it??
No..the transfer case and differential are related to the AWD system and are seperate from the CVT. The intervals here in Canada are based on the Severe or Normal Maintenence Schedule. Of course the Dealer is going to want you to do it more frequently.
I had my 15 Outlander done at 48,000 km. I did all 3 at once...CVT..Transfer Case and Differential. I plan on doing it again at 96,000 Km. It seems a bit much..but I drive alot and I feel better If I do it regularly... I'm sure other members may have some info as well. Best of Luck

Not sure where you are - but, I have a '13 also. Follow the regular maintenance schedule and you'll be all set. Your dealer will have a booklet for these intervals with what is included in each service. If it's easier - ask them to print out their checklist that the tech uses to mark off things that are done at the time of service.
