Default Cvt j4?

Hey all I have a 2011 Outlander and I'm in need of CVT oil. My dipstick and owner's manual state to use CVT-J1. I found some that is supposed to be compatible. It's made by Mitsubishi and it's called DiaQueen CVT-J4. I contacted the guy about it and he said that it is the new type of CVT oil that Mitsubishi came out with and it is made for CVT transmission 2008-2012. Anybody know anything about this? Thanks.

probably just an updated fluid version.

My service manual says that I need to use ATF-J1. My owners manual says ATF-J2. I think I read that the newer autos use ATF-J3.

If I were you, I'd call up a dealership and talk to their service reps.

CVT-J4 is just a newer version of J1. I recently bought few quarts from the Mitsu dealership for my 2009 Outlander. I don't think J1 is available anymore.
