Dpf issues
I have a 2017 mitsi outlander and having issues with the dpf filter.the service dpf light comes on and all the mechanics can find is a high oil level .thus no regeneration.once the change the oil and the level is normal.no probs for around 2000ks.then the service dpf filter light comes on and I have a high oil level.the mechanics seems to be fixing the problem..not the cause..any feed back would be appreciated. Thank you

I the data list that your mechanics can get is an item regarding average speed during regeneration. this needs to be above 40kmh. iIf yours is lower than this will be your cause.
Alternatively you may have a split intake hose, or an air leak after the Mass Air Flow sensor.
Are they using the correct low ash DPF oil?

Maybe your exhaust manifold is cracked. Very common on this model. There are a few faults that can cause this. Maybe it is time to find a workshop that knows these vehicle well
