Hello all

I have a 2013 2.2 diesel. Recently the "DPF system service required" mesaage has came on.

From what understand this is due to excessive oil so had the oil and filter changed. However the message is still on, does anyone know if this can only be reset by the dealer?

would disconnecting the battery potentially resolve this?

Had a similar issue dashboard alert read acc service required and check DPF system. Pajero does not pick up power. Issue was busted/tear in engine hose hence the vehicle was loosing pressure and not able to accelerate. This was the cause in this scenario.
