heres some more kwi extraction code. i got this running but was not relevant for the outlander nave. may help some of you guys that are having issues with the other kwi extractor...

anyone have a cloning machine? i would be all over this if i had 2 or 3 of me...

The only way for You is:
Unlock HDD and then replace loading.kwi with UM 30.99 and reinstall system ( HDD Load MMCS )

 

not a detailed list. BUT it is fairly small so it should not be hard to make the changes. the hardest part will be FINDING where these keys have moved to in the new 60 series of loading.kwi files.... this compare utility is kinda handy. not near what my actual editor can show but a VERY fast efficient way to find the actual differences.

at first, big thank on the work you done here.

I just got my Peugoet 4007. And as you know, it has the MMCS as outlander. I looked at the version and got a little surprice...it has app. version 20.04 with really old maps.

I didn't find any nodvd for this version. So I thought, I will update it to never one, let's say 50.12 I found here. I hope, I'm guessing right few things:
1. it will work - just overwriting the loading.kwi and alldata.kwi will update this to new version
2. I can update maps to latest (shouldn't be a problem, I hope)
3. if I turn on the MMCS, there is a starting animation...at this moment, It's peugeot. By using the loading.kwi from outlander, will it be still Peugeot or will it change to Mitsubishi?

1.Mitsu loading.kwi will NOT work with 4007 MMCS !!! French MMCS systems are not compatible with Mitsu. Strange, but it is I didn't check that personally but I heard that from peoples which tryied to replace loading.kwi. You can try too, please backup Yours files and just check, and confirm it here
2. Maps You can update, by simple replacing existing files
3. That animation is probably inside flash of MMCS, I wanted to change by modifying of loading.kwi but without success
