Any mitsubishi updates will replace the dvd-in-motion patch. Updated maps must be ordered. CDDB and firmware (non-map) updates are free.

Oh ok, so in theory you should just be able to use the same dvd-in-motion patch disk again after doing a mitsu update?

Chances are, a mitsu update will give you a newer version than we currently have patched for dvd-in-motion. So chances are we'll need Otaku to prepare a patch for the new version that you can finally create a new patch disc for.

The only way to really know then is to update and see what changes then :-P

I believe that if the version LOADER and APPLICATION that your MMCS has are the same ones that has patcheado Otaku (261UM v109/2068, and 261EM v109/111) would have to work, otherwise, it is necessary a patch especify for your version of MMCS. . .

You mention you were going to update your navigation. I suggest that you update that first, then give us a copy of the CD/DVD (or specifically the loading.kwi and alldata.kwi files from the disc) and we can probably patch it directly from that -- no pulling of the HDD necessary. (assuming that your navigation update gives you version 00.30.94)
so is that mean we only give u a navigation update disc and u guys can do the patch thru the disc for 00.30.94 version?

You guys are amazing! I tried it out last night and it worked like a dream.

Just out of curiosity, what are you using to edit it? I'm not the greatest programmer, but I havebasic experience with a handful of languages andwith the right tools and a little luck I could probably figure some of this out too.

Depends on what version the navigation update disc gives you. After you install the navigation update, check the version on the MMCS itself. If it is a version that we have not yet patched (i.e. 00.30.94), then, yes, send us the disc so we can make a patch

To get hings off the HDD (30.94 stylee), will I need this....
http://www.compusa.com/applications/...&CatId=448

or this..
http://www.compusa.com/applications/...&CatId=470

Your input is appreciated.

Btw, if both will work... which will be the safest/easiest one?
