here it is....maybe. see my test vehicle is nowhere near me so this is untested. if you would like to test it unzip the files, burn them to disc, and stuff it in the mmcd. PLEASE have a backup of your unit, there is a high possibility of this blowing your vehicle up and i take no responsibility. someone with a backup of there HD if your willing to test and report back that would be great.

Ive been waiting to do a map update for when this came out. Since I have the first patch for the original '07 nav, I wasnt going to install the update and lose my dvd playback. I wont be able to be your ginnie pig, but if it works Im ordering a map update. 2005 maps SUCK.

ive been working on this off and on today. my mmcs is in terrible condition so it takes me 4 times longer to do anything on it then a good one though.

 

its version 60.09. i am currently running my test version that is posted and it is not fully effective. i have noted 1 more key that seems to be different. i am working on locating it in the 60.09 version so that it can be modified.

try to change the lang from Japanese to English with no success
at end i have message in Japanese i think it's about the hdd
here what i do
first i patched it with CD
but didn't remove the battery so nothing happened ..
get the hdd out and unlock it and clone i for emergency ..
get the hdd back with no success still didn't remove battery
after remove battery i got that message ...
i recloned the hdd with file i have from it the but the mmcs give the same message
what i have to do to make it back
the hdd is still unlock . is i have to lock it again ??

so first i need it back to work
and any way to make it english lang ?

Hdd is locking with startup procedure of MMCS
I think noone can help You here
UM, RM EM JM MMCS units has installed different firmware, even is some differencies in hardware too.
In my knowledge the only peoples which can do something like that are Russians. From russian forums I know so they can install russion version RM on european EM units
You should look there, ask peoples there and use similar way
To go back with working MMCS You must install good working compatible HDD with right partitions and properly loading.kwi on HDD
After coldboot system should startup
