The last patch worked on her Outlander and we can now watch DVD's while in motion THANK YOU very much for these patches!! This will make long trips much more enjoyable for us!!

Beer Money ?? Wow I've been away (watching the European Championship) for a week and I obviously missed alot , I've just sent you enough beer money to keep you occupied while working on the AUX IN MOTION PATCH and my special request as you know : Seperating the AUDIO and VIDEO on the AUX button or Creating a new Button on the MMCS for my Front Thermal Camera while being able to listen to Radio at the back ground. NR261EM

Ok - started looking at the AUX in motion thing..
Question : How do you activate it ? Is there a menu option, or does it detect an input ?

Yes- there is an "AUX" button on the "audio selection" screen. Hitting the physical "audio" button brings up the selection screen where you can then hit "AUX" (or Sirius, etc.).

Can I still update CDDB info without overwriting this patch? I am sure that they are different files- I just don't know how the CDDB updater works.

Currently I don't have a AUX SOCKET in my car yet, but I have already ordered it and I'm waiting for delivery from Mitsubishi.

Here is what I think though:
Once I plug anything into a VIDEO IN or AUDIO IN , I think the AUX button will be automatically visible on the screen of the MMCS whan I press the MODE button on the MMCS. Currently when I press the Mode button I see the following :



I think the AUX button will be VISIBLE somewhere at the bottom.

There is a menu option which becames active if you have it enabled by ECU, I think. If you do not have anything connected, you can not use it. The AUX cable has a small box which connects to MMCS and this make the option active.

 

which one should be installed first, navi update (part number MZ360177EX) or dvd in motion patch? thanks!
