Default Montero 2010

I have the same problem with the Montero 2010 BK (no nav).
While pressing the CD button for 2 sec, it goes to AUX.
Now, should I expect to find the wiring if I disassemble the arm rest as in the outlander?

any experience with the Montero?

Thanks in advance.

Is not the car outlet 12v? How did you convert to 5v, or does the iphone charge ok with 12v directly from the outlet? I just recieved the MIT-POD, but I am somewhat reluctant to connect the power cables just yet

Tnx tfaas, ordered the adapter!

I have piggybacked and connected the blue w/stripe, red, and black cable, leaving the 12v red and blue for now, but I cant get any audio out of my speakers in AUX mode. I have an iphone 4. Anybody else had this issue? Do you need to connect the DC also to get the phone to respond?

Hi guys, just wanted to share that I removed the AUX connectors and added/soldered the Video component (Yellow) to it and now I have Video on my MMCS. Pretty sweet.

My next project is to set up a Raspberry Pi media center connected to the MMCS.

Hi there,

I have Sat/Nav on a 2009 Outlander, its the same model. It works. I've done it.
Keep us posted on any new mods you come up with and why did you decide to do this?

best!
