Lancer wheel on a Outie
Hello, I would like to know if the wheel of the Lancer 2008, 2009, 2010 18 inch fit on a Outlander XLS 2008, 18 inch ? I don't know what is the bolt circle of the wheel and the spec. Thank you!
Should fit as the specs are the same except for the lip strength rating.
Trucks are JJ and cars are J.
Stock 18" wheels for the Outlander :
Bolt pattern 114.3 mm, (4.5 in.)
Center bore is 67.1 mm,
Rim width is 7 in. (JJ for 4x4's J for normal cars)
Offset 38 mm.

So, Outlanders are considered trucks or cars?

With a Gross weight of 5181 lbs it's a heavy car or a light truck.
The 16 inch wheels are JJ but the 18 inch are J.
I guess if you are inclined to go trash the bad land you would use 16 inch high profile tires.
If you are tamer, the 18 inch are paved road wheels hence the J rating.
So the answer is BOTH that's why it's called a CUV.

Must be a market difference as my 18" are J lipped. (Canadian).
Also all of Mitsubishi documentation, on line or in the printed brochure as well as both my user manual (french + English) quote a J lip for the 18" wheel.
