TTS is actually present in MMCS, but for some weird reason it announces only highway entrances/exits.

 

I would imagine that the "weird reason" is that it is probably much easier to program the voice to say "Interstate nnn" than every street name in North America. I am still in amazement that they could omit that functionality.

 

Not really, it announces actual cities names for us Canadians, not just "take exit nnn"
