License plate bulbs and reverse bulbs you want a forward facing or 360 degree, the bulbs point downwards into the housings, onto the plate. If you go 360 degree, line the inside of the housing with either aluminum foil or white tape, not sure which one works best yet but i've tried foil which had a clean, even spread of light.

I'm personally more fan of the 5k white which will match the oem bmw/lexus/etc white. The 6k white seems to be a bit blue and doesn't output as bright.

Recommend using:
these for license plate
these for map lights
these for trunk
these for front/side markers
these for reverse

A member over on evoM posted this, and I just thought a few of you may like to upgrade your lights to some nicer LED's.

V-LEDs installed, will post a better review late tonight. First off, the interior map light bulbs are amazing, even though I accidentally ordered the wrong ones. I meant to order the "high output" ones, but somehow grabbed the regular ones instead. That actually makes these things MORE impressive in my book, I'd imagine the high output ones are just fantastic. The fit is a little bit tight, but wow are they brighter and better. Day it's noticeable, but at night it's amazing. I will get the H/O for my center roof light and report back on the difference

THESE 921 reverse bulbs suck IMO. I think my stockers were brighter. These will be removed and returned. Luckily they took about 45 seconds per bulb. Next I'm going to do the license plate bulbs, I just gotta figure out how to get the cover off them.

Question Vanity Light Replacement Bulbs

I just purchased a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE (my 3rd Mitsubishi vehicle) and I am attempting to "make it my own". I would like to replace the factory vanity lights with LEDs, but I can't seem to find the size that I need.

Has anyone had any luck with this? I want to replace them because I do not like how hot they burn.

DE3175 is the bulb... the 31 in the model means it's a 31mm festoon bulb..

so almost any 31mm festoon will work... I replaced mine with them as well.. not SUPER bright... but I didn't want them blinding

You replaced yours? I opened my vanity mirror light up, and the bulb does not look like a festoon bulb. It looks like a mini-wedge...like a T5 (74). The only bulb that are festoons (31mm) in my OS are the map lights.

Sorry... I assumed you meant the map lights... my bad

If I were you... see if your glovebox light will fit in the vanity light and work... glove box light is a 74

I don't have a glove box light. The only interior lights I have are: 2 map lights, 2 vanity lights, 1 cargo light and the LED strips for the panoramic moonroof.
