The best thing to do with this thread is delete the whole thing. There is nothing productive about it. DONT MAKE THIS A STICKEY EITHER! I usually see many members sharing good ideas and laughable comments in good taste.

On this thread I mainly see members voicing their opinion (which they are entitled to do) and neither the sponsor or the super moderator see any value in it.

Members are entitled to share their opinion here on this site in regards to the subject regarding the topic of the thread. Whether the sponsor or super moderator like it or not. If they are NOT BASHING, (see definition of bashing above) everything should be fine. I believe there is no socialist or communist censorship here on this site.

I tried asking for proof of quality (dyno sheets) etc and I guess I made the company look bad??? My post got deleted. So I wouldnt be surprised if yours does too as you're kinda making the moderator look bad lol.

You were looking for data on some of the products?

As for a dyno graph, we will be testing the Colt-Speed Canada Outlander soon, and we will publish the results soon afterwards.

Please keep in mind that this information will be useful as a comparison, and we will not guarantee any % increase. Colt-Speed Japan has not released any kind of numbers, so neither will we.

We will say, however, that the Ram Air Intake will increase performance, as the intakes use K&N filters, and K&N publishes this: “Estimated horsepower gains based on similar vehicle dynamometer test. Results will vary.” (Italics ours.)

Also, we will shortly publish data using common industry standard methods. For example the Strut Tower Bar is described by many manufacturers in the following manner: Construction (solid, or multiple-piece), Shaft, or Main Tube size, or thickness, Weight, Material etc. Nowhere have we found any kind of % increase in chassis rigidity, and so again, we will publish data using industry standards.

Oftentimes, merely stating the materials, components, and design (as in the case of the brake system), implies that there will, if the materials and components are superior to stock, be an increase in performance.

Conditions, additional equipment or lack thereof etc. would produce varying results. Thus, Colt-Speed Japan chooses to use the accurate wording: (the braking system) “…minimized the weight under the spring and significantly increased the performance of braking. Also it provides ideal balance for braking.” (Italics ours.)

So for the $1500 you want us to spend, you will say nothing about your design performance of the intake, other than that the K&N filter will increase performance, something we all already know.

I don't know why this whole sales pitch going on just seems so comical.

The reason why we will not publish exact figures is the same reason why K&N themselves will not: VEHICLES VARY. Synthetic oil? Premium gas? Guess what? Different results.

Sir, if Colt-Speed doesn't fit your budget, it's not comical, but plain dollars and cents. Perhaps another brand may suit your pocketbook.
No sales pitch...if you want so-so for your ride - pay the money. If you want better - pay the money. Do your research, educate yourself and make your informed decision.

When there are no positive responses to a Vendors thread, that says alot about the Vendor and their products. Let alone I have yet to see one member on here ever purchase a Colt Speed product.

You make a generalized statement about bashing not being present when in fact others posting in this thread have clearly stated there WAS bashing earlier. Since there are numerous posts that I have cleared out, you obviously don't see the bashing as I am not allowing it.

Now should you wish to further school ME on what bashing and opinion are, feel free to try BUT OPINION does not degrade, demean, or otherwise insult a person and or company in any way shape or form especially in a public forum.

You all seem to think that this site stays up for your use for free. Hate to burst your bubbles though, without the sponsors on these forums, there would be no forum at all. Web hosting is not free, the software used to operate these boards is not free, the themes used for these board are not free, and the development and implementation of new features is not free. So should you want to keep bashing and insulting the sponsors, you might as well start looking for a new forum to destroy.

This is bashing? A Vendor puts up a thread, gets zero positive response....Thats plain facts.

 

Not trying to contest what you are saying, because you obviously had to pay for them, but just so you are aware. Most of those things can be had for free. My friend runs a firearm forum. It is the same layout as this website. Just about every site uses a similar template, come to think. Anyways, all his stuff was free, and the setup was very simple. The only thing he pays for is an internet connection. You can usually acquire the costs for the internet connection by having a site donation with status bar. People see that their site is going to close without their payment, and they chip in. I know there's hosting costs involved with a site this large. It's usually about $250-300 a month.

 

That sounds about as factful as facts can get!
