Default Radio reception problem

Hi,

I have suddenly lost all MW and LW radio reception? it was ok?? I have checked the radio connections and they are fine, has anyone had this problem or know of a solution?

Сheck the antenna connection above the the trunk light. And there's a power amplifier there, it could fail.

Can u give more details regarding the location of the power amp.
Do you know if when replacing the oem hu with an aftermarket one the remote wire need to be connected to make it work?
