JMC, I just bought my Outlander but the dealership said it was supposed to be on a fuse by itself. In the owners manual they list different fuses but they leave a couple blank so my guess is its located on one of those.

Just wear the seatbelt. In TX the fine for not wearing a seatbelt can go up to $200. It's $101 in WA.

Also it's $616.83 for the windshield not counting replacement labor costs after the driver/passenger goes flying through it.

As long as that fuse is just for the seatbelt then it sounds good to me.

I think there is a switch beneath the driver seat. I was sick of hearing it also, so my buddy just reached under my seat and it was gone. I'm not sure what he did, but just take a look under there. Theres got to be something down there.....

If you open your passenger door on the driver side and look under the driver seat you will see two wires, one wire is attached to the seat on both ends, and another has an end that comes out of the floor. The wire that comes out of the floor is attached to the bottom of the seat with a plug, if you unplug this, you'll finally get rid of that annoying beep.
