Any Car over 100k your taking a chance.

V6 doesnt have great fuel economy, so dont kid yourself. Especially on a run down 100k mile outlander the economy gets worse, not better over time. I dont know the value of these things over 100k as mine only has 35k on it (2008).

Whast your budget? And why are you looking for a vehicle over 100k? Is there any warranty on this thing?

If I had a choice right now...Get the New Mazda cx5.....

Default Not a bad dealership

We got ours used from them 1 year ago. Not sure about pricing on the 2007 but before driving into the dealership negotiate a super low price and have them email you the carfax/autocheck and the exact price sheet in advance. They are part of a group of Mitsubishi dealers in and around LA. Good luck they had one of the best selections of used outlanders in the area last year when we looked.

i would like to stay around 11-13k. i would prefer to stay around 50-60k miles. ... you right i should stay away from 100k miles. those cx5's seem like an interested little peppy family car.

Sounds like you got a good deal. i live about 3 hours from L.A. ... I did find a mits dealer there that had a couple used ones at reaonable price and lower miles. i think i even posted it here.
... and yeah, i would rather have the 2010 model. i liek the styling.
Thanks.

I´think you should by an Outlander anyway. The car is very good and reliable. V6 MIVEC with Invec II transmission are a great composition with no apparent vicious defects. I´ve done a lot of test drive before buy mine (used) 2009 - 40k. Much better than my Freelander and Montero sport or Jeep (same value here).

Note: you guys are lucky
I payed 70k Reais = 40K US dollar

Greetings!!!

My 2 cents...I currently own a 2008 XLS V6 FWD w/Navi and previously owned a 2007 XLS V6 FWD, w/o Navi. I am extremely happy with both of my decisions and would buy both of them again. If there are big gaps in the service records on the CarFax, I would recommend moving onto the next Outlander.

Yes, the '07 and '08 have the paddle shifters, which is a pretty cool feature. I use the cruise control a lot and I would have to say that the amount of down shifting that occurs when going up grades is not its best feature.

As to why I switched from the '07 to the '08, I moved out of the country for a time and sold off the '07 before I left. When I returned I drove 3 different Outies and found that this '08 was the best of the lot.

The wife is not too happy about the red color and dark interior, but for the money it was by far the best deal. The '07 was blue with the cream/beige leather interior. I have to admit that I had never owned a red vehicle in my life, but the red on this Outie sure does pop.
