Strange new extra power from My Outlander
Well my 2010 outlander was always quite ok with the power but it did feel a little sluggish since i took it to the last service.
My reminder for the service came up again and I was getting pissed with the constant reminder so I looked how to clear it. I found some solutions on this forum that I tried.
I cannot remember how I but went thru some button presses and eventually the screen where the info is displayed showed a very quick message something about memory reset.
I still have the dam service message showing but the car seams to have become like a fresh horse, the acceleration feel like 30% faster and it uses far less fuel.
Anyone else ever spotted this.
All I can think of is that I have managed to clear something that gives the car a natural power restriction.
Now I don't want to take it to the 6 month service because I suspect it will go back to the old performance.
