Terrible insulation....

RE: Terrible insulation....
As I see it , the problem is that the Outlander for some reason is quite sensitive to tire choice and rough surfaces. This may very well be the reason why some find it very silent, while other find it noisy. At my place people use studded winter tyres, that roughenes the road pavement. So in summer when you drive on these rough roads the Outlander is quite noisy (thats a fact, no matter what the meters show But if one drive on smooth surfaces (new pavement et.c.), the car seems very silent. In winters when using studded tyres the car is more or less noisy an all hard surfaces, but very silent when running on roads covered with snow for example.
I would like to start a small poll here. Please reply with answers like I have below:
1. The roads where I drive are (rough, medium, smooth): Rough
2. My summer tires: Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport 225/55R18
3. My winter tyres: Continental Conti 4x4 Ice Contact 215/70R16, Studded
4. I feel the cars road noisein the summer is (louder, same, lower) than expected: Louder
5. I feel the cars road noisein thewinter is (louder, same, lower) than expected: Louder
