Default RE: 4G64 turbo compatibility question

I have been reading a lot about turboing a 3G GS motor and I am beginning to like the idea of doing it myself. Apart from the cost cuts - it would be a great sense of satisfaction. and with the amount of help and information from this forum- looks like it should be a worthwhile attempt.
I have a few questions-
i do not have a garage or anything like that - i rent an apt and the best i have is off street parking - is it possible to do these mods in about a day with just regular tools? IF i need some fancy tools - could you guide me on some of the 'must haves'.
Do i need to lift my car up by a lot or can i use a regular jack and lie down and work?
You have suggested that i would need to upgrade my exhaust, intake and clutch. Is there anyting else ?
Is there an order in which i should go about in terms of installation? What would be the preferred order ?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
