Good news,

Just got back from the tranny shop. They said i need a new master cyn and slave cyl. He quoted me 322, How hars is it to do yourself? What tools would i need?

Um thats a little much for those 2 parts. You will need basic toos like sockets and a jack.

What about bleeding the lines after?
I know how to bleed brakes, is it similar?

oh to answer the labor questioin...........I spent 1600 on used tranny included labor. I was ripped off. I'm still pissed at that mechanic. My ex gf's cousin more specifically.

the whole ex gf thing says it all.

Anyways you can bleed it by releasing the nipple at the end of the hydraulic line and pumping the clutch. Making sure that the fluid levels in the reservoir DONT run dry because you will suck air. Also make sure that it does not overflow lol. Its pretty simple.

The tricky part itself is actually getting to it. You have to take one of the wheels off.

Indeed

Same process as the brakes.
