if you gave him the install kit its pretty self explanatory. you gotta be a dumba$$ to not figure it out. as long as you got the whole kit. as for anything that may need to be modified at all... the lower intercooler pipe that normally comes off poinintg to the passenger side now need to connect to the jpipe wich faces down. he may have to cut it a wee bit shorter to fit. other then that.. it took me i think an hour to install my 16g. and install kit when i installed it. pretty simple stuff. you might be better off doing it yourself and i could walk you thru it. save your *** money. he clearly doesnt know what hes doing if he cant figure it out. and its not worth your money. i would say you would know what to do just as good, and with our help better then he could. especially if he cannot figure it out himself.

yeah i got a 2g install kit from dsmparts and the turbo from slowboy racing, he just has the instructions for stock applications. but should the 16g bolt onto the stock 2g exhaust manifold. i also read somewhere about switching water lines from front to back. i just dont think i have the time and resources to do it myself.

it bolts up just like stock besides the jpipe and piping i mentioned. other then that everything you have should be enough. yes, it bolts up to the stock exhaust manifold. the one thing i can think of that may be different is that i believe 16g's dont have the vaccum nipple on there that goes to the actuator.. you can run that from another vaccum point. it is just slightly different than the stock. you can tap into the line that comes off the blowoff valve to control for the actuator. there are other ways you can do it, but for now that is the easiest.

Yeah if he cant figure it out, then you need to take the car back and DIY.

Its just removal of a few bolts... you should be able to do it easily.

You should have taken it to a dsm specialty shop. I wouldn't trust the average mechanic to do it.
