Then its either your master or slave cyl. If adding more fluid and pumping it didnt work.... it should work within like a min of pumping it. How long did you sit there pumping it for? Did you notice anything under the car?

Yea that's what I had read in other posts (which, funny enuff, you are in also) that it was either master or slave. I was going to check lines for leak, bleed, then replace both parts.

I didn't pump it that long. I think I should try and pump it again. I also didn't look under the car. It had rained a little or something and the street I was on was slick.

If pumping it doesn't work, does that mean it's proly one of the cylinders?

If pumping it works, what does that mean?

If pumping it works then it means you just didnt have eough fluid. Fill up the reservoir and pump the clutch for like a min. If you dont have pedal pressure back by then, then the master or slave is out.

Thanks Sebba.

One more thing, if it's one of the cylinders, should I be able to put the car in gear while it is off? I guess what I am asking is if I can't, does that mean the clutch/tranny is F$%k$% ?

You should be able to get it in gear with the car off.. yes. If you cant then you may have another problem

Alright Sebba,

Pumping it worked. I really didn't think you had to pump it that much, but whatever. So long as it works. Now I have to check and see where there might be a leak. Is it true it's usually the slave cylinder?

Anyways, thx man.
