the same thing happened to me. i rotated my tires (we jacked up one side at a time) then i went to back up and it didnt want to go then i put it in 1st and it wouldnt rev past 3000 rpms it was like there was a limiter. it never happened before. HELP!

 

Check the dates before you post, this one is from january of 07.

 

My lancer check engine light comes on and will stay on for a few days then just goes out like it never came on. It runs good, no miss, drives well also, just curious as to what it could be!!

 

I have a Diamante 2001 that had a P1400 check engine code. I replaced the manifold differential pressure sensor or mdp sensor part # MD305600 and that took care of the problem. Advance Auto wanted $167 for it I got it from LKQ for $5. Pull-a-part may have some cars that may have it also because this part is used in many Mitsubishi modules.
