Default Oil warning light came on.

Hi to all!

There is a blizzard right now here in Chicago.
I was backing out from my driveway and the shift lever was at 4LLc because of too much snow on the driveway.
I shifted to 4HLc because the road inside our subdivision is really covered with snow.
When I reached the main road I shifted to 4H, that's the time when the oil warning light came on.
So, I went back home right away.
Can I drive the truck to the dealer? It is more or less a 5 mile drive.
Thanks!

Thank you for the reply. There wasn't an odd sound, it was just the light. I also checked the oil level and it was fine.

My truck is running fine now. I don't know what happened that day, but it is ok now. The light never came on again. Anyway I will go to the dealer this weekend to have it check. Thank you all for the reply, I really appreciate it.
